THEM acquires a stake in IAL Automation- und Logistik GmbH
We have acquired a 49 percent stake in IAL Automation- und Logistik GmbH. The majority continues to be held by CAS Concepts and Solutions AG. Together we will shape the company’s strategic development – joining forces in consulting, implementation and support for SAP warehouse management solutions.
IAL founder Prof. Dr. Arno Niemietz has sold his shares in the company he founded in 1992 to THEM. He is stepping back as a shareholder and from the management team, but will continue to advise IAL.
What this means for our customers
- Deeper SAP EWM expertise: two specialists in SAP logistics now working hand in hand.
- More project reliability and scalability, including for large and complex programmes.
- A broader portfolio: working closely with CAS AG, we support companies along the entire logistics process chain.
- Application Managed Services: second and third level support for warehouse management systems already in production, safeguarding the high availability of distribution centres.
The alliance responds to strong demand across many industries for qualified consulting partners – demand driven by the transformation of existing SAP landscapes towards SAP S/4HANA, not least in warehouse and logistics systems.
We are delighted to be able to appear on the market with even greater impact together with the highly competent consultants of IAL and CAS AG. By joining forces we will successfully continue our growth, including towards larger and more complex projects.
